Multi-colored Sapphire Briolette Necklace with Sterling Silver Tube Beads

Born in Havana, Cuba, Adelita Chirino moved as a child to the Northeastern United States. She received her BA from the University of Rochester and earned graduate degrees in counseling and psychotherapy. A gem-loving Taurus, she has been designing fine jewelry for almost a decade. Adelita uses high quality freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, rare vintage and fine Swarovski crystals, precious metals, and wondrous beads from around the world.


Each LITA creation is born of the energy within the stones and how, in her vision, it can be combined and expressed. Her styles vary widely, ranging from whimsical to elegant.
