Lorraine Skelskey Chapin resides and teaches in the town of Southbury, Connecticut. She is the artist at Hopkin's Inn, in New Preston, an exhibiting artist at the PS Gallery in Litchfield, the Barn Gallery in New Fairfield and artist/member of the Board of Directors at the Fine Line Art Gallery in Woodbury.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Lorraine holds a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design and an Associates Degree in Fine Art. She has won numerous awards in shows throughout the Northeast. She is a member of the The Connecticut Plein Air Painters Society, Society of Creative Arts Newtown.
