Artists interested in becoming members of Fine Line Art Gallery
may obtain an Application for Membership at the Gallery* or request the form by mail, by contacting: Fine Line Art Gallery Attention: Admissions Committee Along with the form, prospective members will be asked to send eight slides or photos/prints, each with name, date, size, title, and medium of the artwork, which will be kept on file until an opening occurs. Please include a biography/resume, and a self-addressed stamped envelope for return of the materials. If the artwork meets acceptance criteria, the Admissions Committee will contact the artist when space becomes available for the particular type of artwork, and an interview will be scheduled. Alternatively, prospective members may present at least four of their best artwork at a Gallery meeting (usually held monthly). Acceptance in the Gallery is based on: 1) Quality and originality of the artwork 2) Gallery needs for new members 3) Gallery needs for the particular type of artwork 4) Ability of the artist to work as a salesperson in the Gallery one or two days per month* 5) Membership fee and monthly dues *Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
